Oh, I should probably make a personal post.

So I just finished up with the roughest semester I’ve had yet in college. I somehow managed to work 30 hours a week, make A’s in all 17 credit hours, and stay on the healthy track.

For the last 2 weeks of school I didn’t bother working out or counting calories. I did what I had to in order to make it through exams, at least that’s my excuse haha. And I’ve yet to get back to it since I no longer have my school’s gym or haven’t bought groceries. Also, my birthday was last week so I had to eat cake…and everything else…

So now I feel like I’ve lost a lot of my endurance. But I’m not going to let that stop me form getting back on track. Hopefully I’m going grocery shopping tomorrow and I’d love to start running again this week. And my abs need work, ugh.

Oh, I also am “talking” to this cute boy. That’s not health related. But it makes me happy, really happy. Meep.

I’m slightly addicted to Vitamin Water Zero. No calories AND no sodium? Almost too good to be true. And not to mention it’s great for replenishing electrolytes after a workout.

I could wake up in the worst mood ever and get up and make a smoothie and the world would somehow become perfectly aligned.

Before my morning smoothie, I felt stressed about homework, perplexed over boys, sleep deprived, and fretful that I would never look good in a bikini.

Now? I’m ready to tackle some homework, I realized that I don’t need a boy when I can make such a bamf smoothie, I’m refreshed and no longer tired, and ready to go run. Smoothies, they’re freaking magical I swear.

Why my day was splendid:

  • 1 hour of cardio at the gym seemed like nothing. Few things are as great as throwing your body into a 600 calorie deficit before your day even begins.
  • My shorts were falling off during my run. Yeah it annoyed the piss out of me, but that just means I’m losing more inches, yay!
  • I haven’t had anything unhealthy for 2 weeks. Not even a cheat meal. And I’m not even tempted to. Freak yeah.
  • A boy noticed me. Nuff said.
  • It’s not even 6:30 pm and my homework is done, face is washed, teeth brushed, and pajamas on. I skipped a night of sleep to catch up on studying, so 14 hours of sleep here I come.

Just pulled an all nighter.

It’s now 6:10am and I’m heading to the gym after no sleep. Insane? Quite possibly.

My second wind decided to show up to the gym this morning.

About freaking time considering how much I struggled last week. But yeah: 15 minutes/1 mile/200 calories on the elliptical and 33 minutes/3 miles/350ish calories on the treadmill. Great way to start my day and week. The chemistry test I’m going to fail in a couple of hours though might set me back.

So how about this morning I was struggling through my run like I have been all week when I got this omg-im-gonna-be-sick-feeling. I ran to the bathroom and threw up like 4 times and then felt great. So I finished my run with no problem. Idk what’s wrong with my body this week. Ergg.

So sore.

I ran 3 miles yesterday and again today with the addition of 15 minutes on the elliptical. I’M DEAD. It’s 7:50pm and I’m thinking of going to sleep, ha.

And to make matters worse, I’m taking these caffeine pills that apparently nuke my appetite, so even though I’ve eaten 4 times today I’ve only had 770 calories. I’M SUPPOSE TO BE DOUBLING THAT! I’m not about to try to squeeze those calories in tonight though. I hope today doesn’t kill my metabolism. I’ll do better tomorrow I promise.

Spring Break was fun.

Ate unhealthy, only worked out once, slept a lot, and spent so much time with family. And I don’t regret a single moment. But not letting it get in the way of my regular schedule tomorrow. Back to working out and eating healthy!

I ended up not going to the beach, but I still took a full body picture. My goal is to work super hard the next 7 weeks at the gym and to see a noticeable difference at the beginning of May. It’s like 100 days until summer and I intend on fully taking advantage of those days.

Just made the best smoothie ever. After the best workout ever.

I skipped the morning workout to study and worked out this afternoon after my test. Cardio after hammering a test? Yes, please. Throw in some Modest Mouse and The Killers and it can only get better. Between 30 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes on the treadmill I burned 575 calories. Freak yeah.

And I’m currently eating the most delicious smoothie of my life:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberry yogurt
  • 1 cup light soy milk
  • 3 packets Truvia
